Christina Nixon graduated from Lancashire University with First Class Honours in Scientific and Natural History Illustration. After learning the principles of scientific accuracy and fine detailed painting Christina is dedicated in her pursuit of becoming a well-known International Wildlife Artist specialising in oil paintings and prints of wildlife.
Christina depicts the rugged natural beauty of British wildlife complete with their natural habitat. She represents them in an intensive intricate style and vibrant colours taken from detailed observation of the natural world. Christina has an intense love for nature and wildlife, which has grown out of her love for the beauty of the world.
Christina has exhibited at the Royal Horticultural Society, Marwell International Wildlife Art Society and the National Exhibition of Wildlife Artists.
Winner at the Bologna Childrens book fair for Illustrators 2000 and 2002 in Italy, resulting in the publishing of her work in the annual catalogue and paintings being exhibited in Italy.
Winner of a gold award at the Royal Horticultural Society in 2002.
