Snowy owls are one of the endangered species that are becoming increasingly rare to the British Isles. The male (left) and female (right) Snowy Owl perch on the cliff tops in the cold crisp air looking out for potential prey and danger, while the male keeps a protective eye on its mate. I love the complete silent understanding between these two birds, as is found between human relationships, when one partner is in a bad mood. This time the female is not too happy.
