I spent many months studying and visiting these hay meadows and every time I visited I was amazed and in awe of the beauty in the high diversity of plants and life contained there. On each visit there was something new to witness, study and learn from. These meadows are untouched by humans and were crawling and thriving from the benefits. This painting captures the month of the year that these rare and protected wild flowers are in their full beauty of balanced diversity.
